Recently, manufacturers such as LG have started to produce thinner wider screens (often referred to as Stretch screens or Panoramic Displays) which we have found to be very useful for those situations where a larger normal screen just won’t fit.
These screens really help digital signage replace traditional banner signage in areas such as airports or exhibition centers where you may want wayfinding or information signs mounted over a doorway or vertically on a narrow pillar. Stretch screens are also ideal for use in retail stores for creating eye-catching special offer banners.
Like all commercially rated LCD’s these screens can be used in both horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) mode making them usable in situations where width is an issue – e.g. mounting on a pillar. The two most common sizes currently are 29 inch and 38 inch which equate to a 32 or 42″ inch 16:9 screen cut horizontally down the middle so they are only half the height.
|Model||Size||Resolution||Aspect Ratio||Viewing Angle||Brightness|

|M2901SCBN||29.1″||1366 x 480||178 degrees||17.6||420cd/m2|
Navaho have found these screens ideally suited for exhibition banners and use them for our own stands to catch people’s attention from a distance. For more information and pricing, please contact us.
