Managed IT Services

Navaho offers IT support services such as back-ups, equipment configuration, installation and commissioning. We also provide specialist services including network monitoring, security testing, Microsoft & Linux server management, server hosting and network consultancy.

Network Monitoring

Navaho operates a flexible network monitoring system, which constantly checks that our own and our customers’ servers are up and running. For customers with critical servers, Navaho offers a 24/7 monitoring service with paging to our support team.

Security Testing

Navaho carries out automated non-destructive tests designed to ensure that any internet facing systems are secure and do not have any obvious security problems. We can also carry out more in-depth tests, including trying common usernames/passwords for email gateways, testing web applications for common attack methods (SQL injection attacks, for instance) or performing more destructive tests that can cause systems to crash.

Microsoft & Linux Server Management

Navaho offers a range of management services for Linux servers, Microsoft Windows server and Microsoft application servers. From design and deployment of new solutions to general server monitoring and maintenance, we help our clients make the most of their servers.

Server Hosting

Navaho operates a virtual server cluster in our Stafford office and have physical hosting facilities in two other data centres with multiple peering links via London and the United States. This ensures that even in the event of a major network outage, our systems will still be accessible.

Navaho has the extensive knowledge base and skills gained over 20 years of leading the way in IT security (our team has over 80 years' worth of expertise between them!) CAGE and Security Software

Navaho offers unique CAGE appliances and security software that use state of the art technologies and a defence-in-depth approach to create hardened, high-availability network security devices.

Virtualisation

Virtualisation can reduce costs and the speed of deployment offering many benefits in the security arena too, as it allows for guests performing different tasks to be isolated from one another and the rest of the network.

Virtual Airgap

Navaho vGAP creates a virtual ringfence around your computer system, managing and monitoring endpoints and safely controlling network traffic between computers or devices on the Navaho vGap network. This system is the ideal solution for aging computer operating systems which can no longer be updated or supported, as it protects the existing network without a physical gap being required.

Hardened Guests

The CAGE host operating system provides the bare minimum required to run security guests. A custom read-only Linux kernel is used with all non-essential drivers removed to minimise attack vectors. We keep copies of all guest images that we create, so if a problem is found Navaho can revert your appliance the old version, ensuring continuation of service.

In the Field Provision

The unique CAGE appliance can be provisioned with software and configuration whilst in the field, this can reduce downtime due to failed disks or security attacks from days to just a matter of minutes.

Instrusion Detection

In the event of a very serious threat, our Snort IDS guest can ask the CAGE guest to block the source of an attack while the authenticity of the threat is verified by our support team.

Network Scanning

Navaho CAGE scans devices on your network for potential security vulnerabilities allowing you to upgrade or secure the systems before they come under attack.

Navaho offers both SME and Enterprise CAGE appliance options to ensure any outages are prevented from causing disruption to your business, no matter what its size.

Enterprise Cloud

Navaho offers Enterprise Cloud services, which allow users to access all Office applications, important files, data and documents from practically any location.

Cloud services provide a fast way of working between desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile as well as offering solutions for email, communication, and storage.
