User Interface.

MediaCAT uses the latest web technologies to provide a fast, intuitive and easy to use web interface that can be accessed by any PC, Mac or Linux workstation on your network, without the need for installing client-side software or any browser plugins.

The MediaCAT web interface provides complete control and management of your player, from changing network settings to uploading content, setting up a media playlist, creating a new scene layout, or editing a web page.

Our recent edition, MediaCAT 4 and with over 5 years of customer feedback, we feel we have created our latest version of MediaCAT one of the easiest Digital Signage systems to use without compromising functionality or flexibility.

Optional Plugins

The standard MediaCAT functionality can be expanded with a number of plugins for different applications. We currently have plugins for Hotel Wayfinding/Conference Bookings, Call Center Statistics, Flight Information Systems and Advertising Campaign Management as well as many more. If you have a requirement that is not covered by our standard interface we may be able to write a plugin specifically for you!

On-Screen Menu

MediaCAT also provides a simple on-screen menu that can be accessed via a keyboard or an optional remote control plugged into the player. The On-Screen Menu not only allows access to essential system configuration (eg. network settings), but also allows playlists or media to be selected and played from a file browser.

Remote Control

For presentations, the hot keys on a remote control can be assigned to specific playlists, whilst the standard pause/skip buttons allow you to control the player whilst you make your presentation.
